That means while traditional dyed films can turn purple, 3M Black's revolutionary process of manufacturing polyester film with carbon pigments ensures this cannot happen - Guaranteed for life. The 3M Black has the most natural darkest looking finish of all films available to the market due to the natural black color that the carbon possesses.

No Transmission Interference! Some metallised window films can distort Radio, Mobile Phone and GPS navigational signals in your vehicle. 3M Black is manufactured without metal and therefore will not interfere with Radio, Mobil Phone and GPS navigation signals.

3M Chrome is a full metallised automotive film with high heat rejection designed specifically for the harsh Australian climate.

Chrome will help make your car cool and comfortable by reducing the amount of heat and glare that enters your car through the glass.

3M Chrome has a slight refelctive black chrome appearance to the film. Chrome absorbs and reflects radiant solar energy, reducing the solar energy that actually enters your vehicle.

Black Chrome 10: The darkest of 3M's Black Chrome films, this 10% light transmission film rejects up to 70% of the total solar energy coming into your car.

Black Chrome 20: The second darkest of 3M's Black Chrome films, this 20% light transmission film rejects up to 68% of the total solar energy coming into your car.

Auto Tinting Cautions: Vehicle Watchlist

Window tinting can effect the operation of some vehicles containing electronic reception / transmission technoligies such as GPS systems, telephones and in-glass antennas. This is called EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) and is typically seen with metallised films.

Due to the potential problems of EMI many vehicle manufacturers advise owners against the fitting of metallised window films.

As a general rule installers should caution vehilce owners about the potential EMI problem if their vehicle contains a GPS, in - vehicle telephone system or in - glass antenna. Once advised of the owner can accept the responsibilty in their decsion on whether you should procedd.
